Tom et Kim sont finally married. Eh oui, un mariage franglais! It was a beautiful rainy day. Tom and Kim are friends of mine, making this photoshoot a very personal one, as I knew many of the guests....
The groom and his groomsmen were quite dynamic and kept on cracking jokes...they pretty much did all day, except that at this point, they were sober, well at least to my knowledge. They were a funny bunch!
Tom and Kim chose a formal traditional ceremony with an opera singer. The ceremony was punctuated by readings from family members.
Our plan A, which was to walk across the street for a fun outdoor photoshoot failed as the rain kept pouring down. We quickly found a back-up plan and went to the Musée des Beaux-Arts pour une petite session. Nous devions nous dépêcher puisqu'il ne restait que 20 minutes avant la fermeture. Thanks Alicia for flirting with the security guard which allowed us to get some group shots.
Off to the reception for an evening of dancing and laughter! What a surprise...a baby pumpkin in the pumpkin...I guess it's now official! Olivia will be a big sister!
We may have had a rainy day, but this bunch of nut jobs sure made it a fun day!
On this specific shot, Jarjour said: ''Look, it's my shoe!!!''
Thank you guys for trusting me with this awesome task. I may not be in many pictures, but I was glad to be there. I wish you luck and happiness and health and great family times and to stay in touch and a healthy/happy pregnancy...well, I wish you the best.
And as I wrote on the little note in the bucket, my advice is one passed on to me by a very wise mother-in-law of mine: Pick your battles!
